LOOK 1 - Chic and Sophisticated
Throughout my job as a fashion stylist, I have the chance to work with different body types, but also various pieces of clothing. Personally, I love to highlight women's curves with the garnments offered and it was a pleasure for me to create looks with the brand Allcovered. Marie, the model, is an H body type woman, which is a filiform silhouette with a small waist and almost no curves. The idea behind each look is to bring out the silhouette of each woman and to embrace her natural curves.
For the first look, I wanted to create lights with the different textures I had. I played with monochrome colors with the satin tank top (from Marie's wardrobe) and the Sincere pants, which are both of an old pink color. Then, I completed the whole look with the Gifted fall coat and black heels (from Marie's wardrobe). The idea was to create a feminine, chic and sophisticated look for fashionistas but, with a urban and casual essence.
What I found interesting with Marie is that she's a great body art lover and the universe of Allcovered is more adressed to the typical business and timeless woman. On the other hand, I think Allcovered's collection can be worn by tattoed woman, who can also afford to be chic and sophisticated. That's why I wanted to break the classic aspect by bringing a modern, assumed and unique woman.
The old pink color of the pants blends perfectly with the textured black coat. Both have straight and destructured cuts that allows you to see the garnment in a new way. The flared silhouette of the pants reflects the casual and more boyish look, but the satin tank to compliments the softness and sensuality of the woman. The coat itself, allows to smooth out the outfit and brings a more urban side to the outfit.
This outfit is perfect for a girls night in the trendiest places of the city or even a date with your lover. Both feminine and masculine at the same time, its the perfect girly choice for women who do not like wearing dresses or skirts.
To finish, this look would also have been gorgeous with a lace bralette that would have brought a sligthly sexy detail to the top. The whole outfit would have flattered Marie's chest but with delicacy and sensuality, without ever being tacky.
